Players may obtain Pokemon with Hidden Abilities by trading with other Players, fighting in Tera Raids three stars or higher, and through Breeding Pokemon.
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you can get Pokemon with Hidden Abilities from 3-Star Tera Raid battles. The pictures above show the stats of a Dragon Tera Type Baxcalibur that was caught in a Tera Raid with the Hidden Ability "Ice Body".
You can get a Pokemon with a Hidden Ability by making an agreement and trading with another player, or getting it from a surprise trade by chance. This is one of the easiest methods of getting a Pokemon with Hidden Abilities, as you only need to trade with other players and if you have a different Pokemon with a Hidden Ability, many players will be willing to trade with you.
Take note that before agreeing to a trade, you can see the stats of the Pokemon which you will receive. Make sure the Pokemon you're receiving has the Hidden Ability you're expecting!
How to Trade Locally and Online
Effect | When used on a Pokémon, its Ability will change to its species’ Hidden Ability, if it has one. |

Ability Patches can be used to change a Pokemon's Ability to a Hidden Ability. It can also be used to switch a Pokemon's Hidden Ability to it's first regular Ability! This makes this item extremely useful when used for competitive breeding and training.
The Ability Patch can be acquired in 6★ Tera Raid Battles as a rare drop! Do note that these are Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles that only appear in the post game!
Ability Patch Location and How to Get
When you already have a Pokemon with Hidden Ability, you can pass the Ability to its offspring by Breeding it.
If the Pokemon with the Hidden Ability is female, its offspring will be the same Pokemon, so it has a chance of inheriting the Hidden Ability. However, if the Pokemon with the Hidden Ability is male, its offspring will be the same Pokemon as the female partner, so there won't be a chance of it inheriting the Hidden Ability. However, male Pokemon can pass their Hidden Ability by breeding with Ditto.
Also, strangely enough, if the two parents are both the same Pokemon, there is no chance of the offspring inheriting the Hidden Ability, so be careful of this point.
