Choice Scarf allows Gallade to outspeed most Pokemon, including a Speed EV trained Dragapult. This can catch your opponents off guard, since you can hit Dragapult early on with a Super Effective Knock Off.

Sacred Sword is Gallade's main damaging move, as it gains STAB, and is boosted further by its new Sharpness Ability. It also ignores the opponent's stat changes, so it is effective against Physical walls like Corviknight.

The Fighting Tera type further boosts the damage output of Sacred Sword, which will allow it to OHKO most Pokemon, even when dealing neutral damage.

By giving Gallade a Focus Sash, it can stay in combat longer, and deal more damage against the enemy team. It also has the option to use Shadow Sneak, a priority move that allows it to move before the opponent.

Destiny Bond is its last resort, especially when going up against Pokemon with high firepower. If Gallade is faster than the enemy Pokemon, it can use Destiny Bond when it is low on HP, and take the enemy down with it.

The Fairy Tera type is adopted with a defensive play in mind. There are a lot of Dragon type Pokemon in the meta, and giving Gallade immunity from their STAB Dragon moves gives it more survivability, especially when your opponent does not expect it.

Other Viable Moves

Leaf Blade A good Grass type coverage move against Water type Pokemon. Also benefits from Sharpness.
Swords Dance A setup move that will allow you to take down bulkier opponents when taking a more offensive approach.
Knock Off Can be taken instead of Psycho Cut for coverage against Ghost types like Dragapult.

Take Advantage of Gallade's High Speed and Attack

Gallade is essentially a Glass Cannon, since it has very high Attack and Speed, but has very low Defenses. Make use of its STAB moves against slower Pokemon, but remember to switch out when faced against an unfavorable matchup.
