Summary

The best ability for Cresselia in Tera Raid Battles is Levitate. This is the only ability Cresselia is able to have and it give it an immunity to Ground-type moves.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Cresselia with its default Psychic Tera Type as it doesn't matter what Tera Type your Cresselia is as it has no way to terastallize with this build. As a Defensive Wall, a Calm nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

This build aims to make Cresselia as tanky as possible against special attacks. Max out your HP and Special Defense EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Give it Light Clay to extend the duration of your screens.

Tera Raid Strategy

Cresselia Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turns 1~2 Use Reflect and Light Screen to bolster Defenses.
Turn 3 If you know the opponent likes to inflict status conditions use Safeguard. You can opt for Helping Hand instead if you want your allies to do more damage.
Low HP Turns If the party is running low on HP, you can use Lunar Blessing
Turn 4+ Help out the team's damage by using up your cheers. Afterwards you can just refresh your buffs if needed.

This build is specifically tailored for random Tera Raid matchups online. Use both Light Screen and Reflect at the start of the battle to make your team less susceptible to damage.

This build focuses on using Lunar Blessing to heal up the entire party if their HP is running low. You also have the option of running Safeguard for those raid bosses that like to spam status conditions, or Helping Hand to support your allies to do more damage.

Alternative Moves

Cresselia is a Pokemon whose entire kit revolves around supporting ally Pokemon. Here's some moves we could recommend that could help in certain types of raids.

Move Case
Mud-Slap or Double Team Raid Boss likes to use Low accuracy, High-Power moves
Mist Raid Boss likes to debuff the party
Charge Beam Good offensive move that can be combined with Tera Electric, making it have 0 weaknesses.
Psychic Terrain and Skill Swap Raid Boss likes to use priority moves.
Sunny Day and Solar Beam Good against Water-type Raid bosses that rely on rain.
