Boost Blaziken's Attack with Swords Dance. Activate Sunny Day to boost Fire-type moves. Use Blaze Kick to deal tons of damange while Sunny Day is up. |
Blaziken's Attack can be further boosted by using Swords Dance, partnered with Sunny Day's effect that boosts the damage of Fire-type moves.
Use Crush Claw to deal damage with a chance to lower the target's Defense by one stage, and switch to Blaze Kick for the high crit chance and double STAB after terrastalizing.
This build recommends Blaziken to have a Fire Tera Type to maximize the damage dealt by Dragon Claw or Breaking Swipe from a double STAB.
As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature is the recommended nature. If Blaziken happens to have a different nature, you can use an Adamant Mint to change its nature.
Let Blaziken hold a Shell Bell to restore health when it deals damage, increasing its survivability against raid bosses.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards bulky offense to increase survivability while dealing the maximum damage possible. EV Train to max out Blaziken's Attack and HP, while adding the remaining EVs into Speed.
Blaziken Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~3 | Use Swords Dance to increase Blaziken's Attack. |
Turns 4~6 | Use Crush Claw to damage and charge up the Tera Orb, with a chance to lower the raid boss' Defense. |
Turn 7 | Activate Sunny Day to get a boost in damage for Fire-type moves. |
Turns 8+ | Terrastalize and use Blaze Kick to deal the most damage until the raid boss is defeated. |
Start the raid battle with Swords Dance and use it three times to boost Blaziken's Attack stat and max it out. Follow it up with Crush Claw three times to deal damage while also charging up the Tera Orb for terrastalizing, with a chance of decreasing the enemy's Defense.
Activate Sunny Day to receive a boost in damage when using Fire-type moves. Terrastalize and switch to using Blaze Kick to deal the most damage.

This Blaziken Dragon Tera Raid Build is an effective counter to Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel Type Tera Raid Bosses. If the Tera Raid Boss is usually a Fire, Water, Rock, or Dragon Type outside of Terastallization, perhaps consider a different build, as Blaziken will be weak to these types as a Fire-type attacker.
