Berries are items used in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) which can be used for various effects. Read on to learn the different types, effects, Berry locations, and where to buy Berries in the game!
List of Contents
Most Berries can be obtained from sparkling dropped items found all around the Paldea region. If you spot a glowing spot on the ground, walk close and interact with it to get it!
Pokemon that you have sent out with the Let's Go! feature can also get this item for you if they are near the item.
How to Auto Battle and Evolve Pokemon
Several Berries are also obtainable as a reward for clearing Tera Raid Battles. You will be able to get these as long as you defeat the raid Pokemon, whether you choose to catch it or not.
How to Increase Tera Raid Star Level
You can obtain EV Berries from auctions that take place in the market area in Porto Marinada. You need to make the highest bid to obtain the item successfully.
These auctions are unlocked after you clear Cascarrafa's Gym Challenge.
How to Win Porto Marinada Auctions
You can also obtain EV Berries as a reward for rerunning the Emotional Spectrum Practice minigame's Standard Mode: All-Out in Alfornada.
Berries have different effects depending on their type. These can range from restoring HP or PP, recover from status conditions, and many more!
