This team is a rough recreation of ColdingLight's Regulation D Trick Room and Sun team with the same Pokemon but with different EV spreads.
It is able to make use of both Trick Room and Sun, giving the Pokemon on the team Speed advantage and offensive boosts to their Fire-type Attacks.
The team does not run Protect at all so careful decision making is crucial for piloting this team.
Nature | Quiet (+Sp. Atk, -Spe) |
---|---|
EV Spread | 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Sp. Atk IVs: 0 Spe |
Final Stat Values | 192 HP / 121 Def / 194 Sp. Atk / 100 Sp. Def / 72 Spe |
Ability | Flash Fire |

Held Item | Life Orb |
Moveset | ・
Expanding Force
・ Heat Wave ・ Aura Sphere ・ Trick Room |
Armarouge makes an appearance in this team and works both as an attacker and a Trick Room setter. Expanding Force in Indeedee's Psychic Terrain can hit both opponents and so will Heat Wave. These two moves are countered by Wide Guard so do your best to scout it out in Team Preview.
Aura Sphere is a great option against Heatran, who it can do a big chunk of damage to on super-effective hit.
Armarouge Movesets and Best Builds
Nature | Modest (+Sp. Atk, -Atk) |
---|---|
EV Spread | 252 Sp. Atk / 4 Sp. Def / 252 Spe IVs: 0 Atk |
Final Stat Values | 153 HP / 98 Def / 177 Sp. Atk / 106 Sp. Def / 152 Spe |
Ability | Solar Power |
Tera Type | |
Held Item | Choice Scarf |
Moveset | ・
Overheat
・ Heat Wave ・ Air Slash ・ Focus Blast |
Charizard is a powerful game closer, being able to outspeed most foes and deal massive damage in Sun. Heat Wave has its accuracy and power boosted by Sun, while it is also boosted by Charizard's Solar Power Ability.
Overheat is also greatfor getting OHKOs, still being able to KO Landorus-T even at -2, after its first use.
Air Slash is another STAB option, which can notably damage Tera Grass Heatran for super-effective damage.
Focus Blast is a coverage move that is good on some occasions, but cannot be relied upon too often because of its low accuracy.
Charizard Movesets and Best Builds
Nature | Timid (+Spe, -Sp. Atk) |
---|---|
EV Spread | 252 Sp, Atk / 4 Sp. Def / 252 Spe IVs: 0 Atk |
Final Stat Values | 130 HP / 75 Def / 187 Sp. Atk / 156 Sp. Def / 205 Spe |
Ability | Protosynthesis |
Tera Type | |
Held Item | Booster Energy |
Moveset | ・
Dazzling Gleam
・ Moonblast ・ Shadow Ball ・ Sunny Day |
Fast Booster Energy Flutter Mane can set Sunny Day after a Tornadus uses Rain Dance. Moonblast and Shadow Ball are its main single-target damaging moves, while Dazzling Gleam is a strong spread attack.
Flutter Mane also benefits from Sun, which will trigger its Protosynthesis and boost its Speed, however thanks to Booster Energy, it does not need to always rely on Sun going up to be fast and effective.
Flutter Mane Movesets and Best Builds
Nature | Calm (+Sp. Def, -Atk) |
---|---|
EV Spread | 244 HP / 244 Def / 20 Sp. Def |
Final Stat Values | 176 HP / 116 Def / 115 Sp. Atk / 140 Sp. Def / 105 Spe |
Ability | Overgrow |
Tera Type | |
Held Item | Rocky Helmet |
Moveset | ・
Dazzling Gleam
・ Follow Me ・ Helping Hand ・ Trick Room |
Tera Water Indeedee with Rocky Helmet works as a tech against Rapid-Strike Urshifu, dealing damage to it every time it connects Surging Strikes with Indeedee. Rocky Helmet is also valuable for breaking Chien-Pao's Focus Sash.
Follow Me can allow Indeedee to support its teammate by redirecting damage into it. Helping Hand can increase their damage output, while Trick Room can reverse turn order and allow slower Pokemon like Armarouge and Torkoal to sweep.
Indeedee-F Movesets and Best Builds
Nature | Jolly (+Spe, -Sp. Atk) |
---|---|
EV Spread | 252 Atk / 4 Sp. Def / 252 Spe |
Final Stat Values | 145 HP / 157 Atk / 95 Def / 96 Sp. Def / 172 Spe |
Ability | Chlorophyll |
Tera Type | |
Held Item | Focus Sash |
Moveset | ・
Close Combat
・ Solar Blade ・ After You ・ Sleep Powder |
Hisuian Lilligant is very different from regular Lilligant because of its Fighting typing. With access to Close Combat, it is capable of burst damage when necessary.
Hisuian Lilligant can always threaten with fast Sleep Powders, or quickly let Torkoal let out a Sun and Specs boosted Eruption with After You.
Solar Blade is a strong Grass-type attack, but it needs a turn to set up outside of Sun.
Hisuian Lilligant Movesets and Best Builds
Nature | Quiet (+Sp. Atk, -Spe) |
---|---|
EV Spread | 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Sp. Atk IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe |
Final Stat Values | 177 HP / 161 Def / 150 Sp. Atk / 90 Sp. Def / 22 Spe |
Ability | Drought |
Tera Type | |
Held Item | Choice Specs |
Moveset | ・
Eruption
・ Heat Wave ・ Flamethrower ・ Earth Power ] |
Torkoal is an Offensive powerhouse once it gets going, and it is difficult to stop once in Trick Room.
An important thing to remember when playing Torkoal is that it is slower than Amoonguss, who can put it to sleep outside Trick Room with Spore.
Torkoal Movesets and Best Builds
Hisuian Lilligant |
Torkoal |
Flutter Mane |
Charizard |
Hisuian Lilligant and Torkoal are a powerful lead option for this team, which works very similarly to Lillikoal leads of the past. Flutter Mane and Charizard are powerful anchors that can clean up in the late-game.
Indeedee (Female) |
Armarouge |
Torkoal |
Charizard |
Indeedee and Armarouge are great leads when your opponent has limited ways of denying Trick Room. This lead is also great for teams that rely on priority moves, as Indeedee's Psychic Surge can negate their use.
Torkoal Tera Type: |
Charizard Tera Type: |
Hisuian Lilligant Tera Type: |
Flutter Mane Tera Type: |
Torkoal, Charizard, Hisuian Lilligant, and Flutter Mane can all Terastallize offensively to give their STAB moves an extra boost. Of the four, Charizard will be Terastallizing most often in order to dish out even more powerful Heat Waves in Sun.
Indeedee (Female) Tera Type: |
Armarouge Tera Type: |
Indeedee and Armarouge both have defensive Teras.
Indeedee's Water Tera is for resisting Rapid Strike Urshifu's Surging Strikes as well as Chien-Pao's Ice Spinner. Indeedee's Rocky Helmet will deal multiple hits of damage to Rapid Strike Urshifu, and will break Chien-Pao's Focus Sash.
Armarouge's Grass Tera allows it to resist Water-type and Ground-type Attacks.
Pelipper Drizzle |
Tornadus (Incarnate Forme) Prankster |
Tyranitar Sand Stream |
Countering Torkoal's Weather is a sure-fire way to mitigate the team's damage output while giving added benefits to their own teams.
Consider switching Torkoal out when anticipating an opposing Weather Pokemon to switch in, or switch Torkoal in strategically to have weather in your favor.
