The Terastal Crescendo is an official Online Competition that will be held from October 10-12 to celebrate the final moments of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) being the current mainline game. Signups have now started, so learn about the details of this competition, which Pokemon are allowed and banned, and more!

Battle Format
Double Battles
The format used in the Terastal Crescendo is Doubles Format. Official Pokemon Tournaments are typically played in the Doubles Format, making learning how to build the best doubles team vital for Competitive Ranked Battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV).

Pokemon of Lv. 1 to Lv. 100 may participate but all Pokemon will become Lv. 50 for the duration of each battle.
All members of your party are eligible to hold items, but no two Pokemon that will participate in the competition can hold the same item.

This competition will be comprised of Double Battles using teams of only two Pokémon, one of which must be either a Miraidon or Koraidon. These are the only special restricted Pokémon that can be selected for battle.
Any Pokemon from the Pladea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Pokedexes!

Non-Restricted and Non-Mythical Pokemon that can be transferred via Pokemon HOME can also be used. Pokemon like Regional Forms, Urshifu, and the like are eligible despite not being in any of the Regional Dexes.

Legendary Pokemon outside of the two legendary Ride Pokemon, as well as Mythical Pokemon are not allowed in this official competition.

Competition Information
Only One User Per System
Only one user per game version (Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet) may participate per each Nintendo Switch system. If your Nintendo Account is registered to users on multiple Nintendo Switch systems, you may participate with only one user and system per game version.
Nintendo Switch Online Required
Any Nintendo Switch Online membership and Nintendo Account required for online features are required to participate. Not available in all countries. Internet access required for online features.
Terastal Crescendo Rewards and Prizes
Rewards to be Announced
Like most other online competitions, participants are eligible for a participation gift. You must finish at least one match with a win or loss during the event period to be eligible for rewards.
The rewards, along with the list of Pokemon eligible for the competition, will be announced on October 1.
