As a last hoorah before we bid the Scarlet and Violet era, select stores are now giving away codes to redeem a Shiny Koraidon and a Shiny Miraidon.
Note that the codes is limited to only one (1) per person, even if you own both games. The Serial Codes given by GameStop and EB Games will be limited to only either Koraidon or Miraidon, but the Japanese Serial Codes will give you both Shiny Legendaries.

How to Obtain the Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon Mystery Gift

| How to Get Mystery Gifts via Code | |

| 1 | Just like getting Mystery Gifts on the internet, a stable internet connection is needed before you can get Mystery Gifts via code. |
| 2 |  First, open the menu by pressing the X button, then select "Poke Portal". |
| 3 |  Next, select "Mystery Gift". |
| 4 |  Select "Get via Code/Password" next to prompt the game to check if there are gifts you can still receive. |
| 5 |  Gifts that are still available for you to receive will be shown on your screen. Choose which of those you'd like to get. |
| 6 | You'll receive the gift shortly so make sure you stay connected to the internet during the process. |
After following these steps, you should be able to find the mystery gift that states that it is the Shiny Koraidon and Miraidon. Click this and you should be able to get the Pokemon, which shows up either in your boxes or in your party if you have an extra slot!
