Unlock 6-Star Tera Raid Battles to Participate To do this, you'll need to complete the Academy Ace Tournament, then do 8-10 4-Star or 5-Star Raids until you get a call from Jacq. |
Round 2 of the 7-Star Tera Raid Event featuring Kommo-o with a Fighting Tera Type ran from July 18, 2025 (00:00 UTC) up until July 20, 2025 (23:59 UTC) as a set with the Powerhouse Pokemon Tera Raid Events! Along with this is the rerun of the Blissey Tera Shard Raid Event!
Kommo-o with the Mightiest Mark, the featured Pokemon for this event, could only be caught once. However, you could still participate in this event even after you've caught Kommo-o if you wanted to get more of its rewards.
Tera Raid Event Location
Just like previous 7-Star Tera Raid events, the 7-Star Kommo-o Raid Dens would only spawn in Paldea. If you haven't purchased The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, no need to worry as the Raid Den cannot appear in Kitakami or the Terarium. You also don't need to do the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in order to start this raid.

Kommo-o Has Soundproof!
As seen with the Dragonite Tera Raid, these Pokemon can have their standard Abilities instead of thier Hidden ones. This Kommo-o has Soundproof which locks out useful special attackers from using the popular Metal Sound.
Reset for NPC Allies with Intimidate
If you want to solo this Raid, try to look for NPC Allies with the Ability Intimidate. This can be immensely helpful, as allies will almost always faint every turn, having them repeatedly send out and lowering Kommo-o's Attack.
The best allies in this situation would be Arcanine, Staraptor, and Paldean Tauros.

How to Join 7-Star Kommo-o Raid Event
Unlock 6-Star Tera Raids to Participate
Kommo-o normally cannot be found in Paldea, making the 7-Star Event Kommo-o quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.
These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
How to Unlock 6-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
Black Tera Raids vs. Normal Tera Raids
Remember that Black Tera Raid symbols on the map do not come in any other color except black. Meanwhile, normal Tera Raid symbols are colored according to the Tera Type of the Pokemon in them.
When you're looking for the Tera Raid with the 7-Star Kommo-o, keep your eyes peeled for a Black Tera Raid symbol on the map with the Fighting-type icon.

You are able to join Event Raid Dens online. When the event is live, you can use our Tera Raid Board to coordinate a team to take it down!

Magearna Level 100 Item: Metronome. Nature: Bold 252 EVs in Special Attack , 252 EVs in Defense. Tera type : Astral or Fairy. Moves : Iron Defense , Draining Kiss , Fleur Cannon. It needs just one pokemon with intimidate to work. Turn 1 : Iron Defense Turn 2-4 : Draining Kiss Turn 5: Tera Crystalize then use Draining Kiss. Turn 6 to stats reset: Draining kiss. Once Stats are reset , Iron defense or Defense Cheer. Then Draining Kiss until Kommo-o is defeated.
