Pokemon HOME 3.0.1 Bug Fixes |
---|
Fixes issues with Spinda's spots being displayed incorrectly. Fixes issues with Pokemon transferred from Pokemon Legends: Arceus not being registered in the National Pokedex. Fixes display issues with certain ribbons. Other bug fixes.
|
The mobile version of Pokemon HOME has been released and along with it are fixes for multiple bugs previously found within the software.
Prior to the 3.0.1 update, certain Pokemon, namely Hisuian Zoroark, Hisuian Goodra, and Overqwil, did not recieve a Jumbo Mark in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) even though they were classified as Alphas in Legends: Arceus.
The bug has since been fixed and will recieve the proper Mark if redeposited to Bank, save and quit, and move it back into Scarlet or Violet!
How to Transfer Pokemon from Pokemon HOME
The Pokemon HOME compatibility update maintenance began at May 29, 5PM PST (May 30, 0am UTC), and is now over! The maintenance time lasted for 6 hours, ending at May 29, 11 PM PST (May 30, 6am UTC), at which point players can finally start transferring Pokemon from HOME to Scarlet and Violet.
According to the Maintenance notice on the Pokemon HOME app, users will be able to log in at staggered times after the update, to avoid server strain on Pokemon HOME's servers. It is expected that some players will be able to transfer their Pokemon immediately after the update at 11pm PST, but some players might access Pokemon HOME much later.
Pokemon has recently announced that the scheduled date for Pokemon HOME compatibility on May 24 was a mistake. The actual release date for Patch 3.0.0 will be on May 29 instead.
Pokemon HOME Support Release Date
Additionally, players who can now access Pokemon HOME can now send Roaming Form Gimmighoul and Gholdengo from Pokemon GO to Pokemon HOME!
Players have also discovered a restriction when transferring Pokemon between games. When moving Pokemon under Level 100 from BDSP to Scarlet and Violet, and then Hyper Training the Pokemon, it cannot be transferred back to BDSP unless it is Levelled up to 100 in Pokemon SV.
Players who link their game with Pokemon HOME will be rewarded with a Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly with their Hidden Abilities Protean, Unaware and Moxie respectively in the mobile version of Pokemon HOME!
Ability | Effect |
---|---|
Moxie | The user's Attack is increased by one stage whenever it knocks out another Pokemon. |
Protean | Changes the user's type to the type of the move it's about to use. |
Unaware | The user ignores the opponent's stat changes when attacking. |
Hidden Ability (HA) Gen 9 Starter Pokemon HOME Mystery Gift
It has also been confirmed by Pokemon that players will finally be able to transfer their Roaming Form Gimmighoul to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet through Pokemon HOME!
How to Link with Pokemon GO and Rewards
A new feature in version 3.0.0 called Move Tailor allows you to customize your Pokemon's moveset before sending it out to a game, based on its learned moves, as well as available moves within the game it is moving to!
Pokemon HOME will also store data for each of your Pokemon's movesets per game which will make it easily accessible to players looking to swap Pokemon movesets.
Pokemon HOME Custom Move Tailor and Stored Movesets Details
As can be seen by the diagram above, Pokemon can be traded back and forth between Pokemon HOME and the newer Switch Pokemon titles. This means that transferring Pokemon backwards to Legends Arceus, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Sword and Shield will be possible! Note that only Pokemon that exist within those titles will be transferrable, so no sending Tinkaton to Galar to wreak havoc on their Corviknight Flying Taxi Service unfortunately!
All Pokemon HOME Transferable Pokemon
When a Pokemon from an older game make their way into Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, their Tera Type will be determined by their regular typing. This could be a great way to obtain high IV or Shiny Pokemon with the desired Tera Type that would be difficult to get otherwise! Examples that come to mind are Steel Tera Scizor, Steel Tera Gholdengo and Flying Tera Dragonite!
Best Pokemon Tier List
There will be a new feature in version 3.0.0 which will allow you to customize your Pokemon's moveset before sending it out to a game, based on its learned moves, as well as available moves within the game it is moving to! In addition to this, Pokemon HOME will store data for each of your Pokemon's movesets per game. This information will be easily accessible to players, allowing you to easily and freely look between and swap movesets.
List of All Moves
It has also been confirmed that there will be Pokemon Scarlet and Violet centered challenges and rewards in Pokemon HOME. You will need to send certain numbers of specific Pokemon from specific games to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and vica versa in order to clear these challenges.
Additionally, you will be able to transfer Pokemon HOME Points (earned for each Pokemon stored in Pokemon HOME) for LP in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This may end up being even more lucrative than the Academy Ace Tournament to Farm Money/LP!
