A Mass Outbreak Event featuring Ice Pokemon will be held from August 3 to August 17, 2025 in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)! Read on to learn the event duration, locations, mark and title information, and more!

From August 3 to August 17, 2025, players can encounter Ice Pokemon in Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Academy at an increased spawn rate! Ice Pokemon encountered at these Mass Outbreaks will have a boosted chance of being Shiny!
Ice Pokemon Mass Event Outbreak Mark and Title
Mass Outbreak Locations
This Mass Outbreak Event will be held in all three maps in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Frigibax will appear in Paldea, Snorunt will appear in Kitakami, and Cubchoo will appear in the Terarium.
Available Early for a Limited Time
While Ice Pokemon can be caught normally during the events of the DLC, players can catch one earlier due to the mass outbreak.
This can be very helpful for players who are looking to add Ice Pokemon and its evolutions to their collection early on, to use in either Tera Raids or Online Battles.
No Boosted Mark Odds
The Pokemon appearing in the Mass Outbreak will not have boosted Mark rates, so you will have standard odds of finding one with a Mark.
If you want to increase your chances of encountering a Pokemon with a title, you can get the Mark Charm from The Indigo Disk DLC.

Ice Pokemon Can be Shiny
Since Mass Outbreaks feature increased spawn rates of a specific Pokemon, this is a good time to hunt for a Shiny Variant of Ice Pokemon!
Make and consume Sparkling Power Sandwiches, and use the Picnic Reset Method to make your shiny hunt easier!
