A Quiet Nature and a full 252 EV allocation to Special Attack maximizes Magearna's damage output.

252 EVs are put into its HP to maximize Magearna's bulk. The remaining 4 EVs are put into Defense, but can also be redistributed to Special Defense to give Magearna a point of extra tankiness on the Special Defense end.

Ice Beam Ice Beam gives Magearna an option against Grass-types, if in case your team needs an extra option against them.
