Shaymin Sky Forme's Ability is Serene Grace, which doubles the chances of secondary effects for any Move it uses. This complements Moves like Air Slash which causes flinching, or Seed Flare which lowers the opponent's Special Defense by two stages.

The item chosen for this build is a Life Orb. This helps boost Shaymin Sky Forme's damage output without having to lock into a single move.

Seed Flare is Shaymin's best STAB Grass-type Attack which has a chance to decrease an opposing Pokemon's Special Defense by two stages.

Air Slash is the set's most most important move, which has a high chance of flinching an opponent thanks to Shaymin's Serene Grace.

Earth Power also synergizes with Serene Grace, with increased chances of lowering the opposing Pokemon's Special Defense by one stage. This also works with Shaymin's Ground Tera, giving it an additional boost to damage.

Protect lets you keep Shaymin safe on turns where it could get flinched by Fake Out.

A full 252 EVs are placed in Shaymin's Sp. Atk and Speed to make it hit as hard and fast as possible. The extra 4 EVs are put into its Special Defense to help round out its bulk.

Because of Shaymin Sky Forme's typing, it is best to have teammates that can help against Shaymin's Weaknesses and difficult matchups. Water-types like Kyogre has access to Drizzle as its Ability, which lessens the damage of Fire-type Moves, which is relevant against Shaymin who is a Grass-type.
