The Delibird Mass Outbreak event ran from December 22, 2023 until December 24, 2023.
Mass outbreaks of Delibird appeared in Paldea, the land of Kitakami, and the Terarium in Blueberry Academy!
Delibird found in these Mass Outbreaks had a higher chance of being shiny!
After this event, a new Dragon-Type Mass Outbreak event started on December 25, until January 3, 2024.

Just like with other Mass Outbreak events, an update will be available through the internet before the event can show up on your maps.
Make sure to update your game when the outbreak starts by connecting to the Internet. To do so, you can follow these steps:
- Press the X button to open the menu.
- Select “Poke Portal.”
- Connect to the Internet by pessing the L button.
Mass Outbreaks Before the Epilogue
Once you're done with this Event and the following Outbreak and Raid Events, along with the Post Game for The Indigo Disk, there is still more to do!
A brand new DLC Epilogue update is coming January 11, 2024, and with it a possible new Mythical Pokemon, and new story content as you revisit the land of Kitakami along with your friends Nemona, Arven and Penny!

Make sure to take advantage of Auto Battle during the Mass Outbreak Event. There will be numerous Delibirds in a single area, lets you efficiently obtain Delibird Parcels, which is a resource that significantly fills up your Item Printer!

Since Mass Outbreaks feature increased spawn rates of a specific Pokemon, this is a good time to hunt for a Shiny Variant of Delibird!
Make and consume Sparkling Power Sandwiches, and use the Picnic Reset Method to make your shiny hunt easier!
