Obtain from Sparkling Dropped Items
| Asado Desert |
You can obtain this item by interacting with sparkling dropped items on the ground. These are laid out randomly around the area, so you may have to scout around to find the item.

Pokemon in your party with the Ability Pickup have a chance to obtain Sun Stone after a battle.
Do remember that only Pokemon in your party has a chance of obtaining an item. Additionally, you have to make sure that the Pokemon has no held item for it to have a chance of picking up the item.

Available at Porto Marinada Auctions
You can obtain Sun Stone from auctions that take place in the market area in Porto Marinada. You need to make the highest bid to obtain the item successfully.
Auctions in Porto Marinada are unlocked after clearing Cascarrafa's Gym Challenge, and the featured items will change daily both in-game and in real-time but can be manually rerolled by closing the game and advancing the time of your console by 72 minutes.
If the merchant doesn't sell any items, make sure to change the date on your Switch's system to refresh their inventory.
How to Win Porto Marinada Auctions
Obtain from Artazon Gym Test
You can obtain a Sun Stone after defeating a Sunflora during the Artazon Gym Test.
Obtain from Sunflora Hide and Seek Rerun
A Sun Stone is rewarded for rerunning Sunflora Hide and Seek and finding 20 Sunflora in Artazon after beating Brassius and obtaining the Artazon Gym Badge.
The Sunflora Hide and Seek minigame is available after defeating Artazon's Gym Leader, Brassius.

Obtain from Sparkling Dropped Items in Asado Desert
There's a chance for Sun Stones to be obtained from sparkling dropped items in Asado Desert. Note that the locations of these items are random, so be sure to pick up as many as you can!
