You can obtain Carbos from auctions that take place in the market area in Porto Marinada. You need to make the highest bid to obtain the item successfully.
Auctions in Porto Marinada are unlocked after clearing Cascarrafa's Gym Challenge, and the featured items will change daily both in-game and in real-time but can be manually rerolled by closing the game and advancing the time of your console by 72 minutes.
If the merchant doesn't sell any items, make sure to change the date on your Switch's system to refresh their inventory.
How to Win Porto Marinada Auctions
You can obtain Carbos as a reward for completing the Academy Ace Tournament. The Academy Ace Tournament is unlocked after completing the game and defeating all 8 Gym Leaders in a rematch..
A variety of items are rewarded to the player for each successful run at the tournament, with Carbos included in the reward pool.
Carbos are rewarded for each attempt at the Sheer Cold Course of Snow Slope Run ontop of Glaseado.
The Snow Slope Run minigame is available after clearing Glaseado's Gym Battle, and the Sheer Cold Course is unlocked after clearing the Blizzard Course and Powder Snow Course.
