You can obtain Thunder Stone from auctions that take place in the market area in Porto Marinada. You need to make the highest bid to obtain the item successfully.
Auctions in Porto Marinada are unlocked after clearing Cascarrafa's Gym Challenge, and the featured items will change daily both in-game and in real-time but can be manually rerolled by closing the game and advancing the time of your console by 72 minutes.
If the merchant doesn't sell any items, make sure to change the date on your Switch's system to refresh their inventory.
How to Win Porto Marinada Auctions
Obtain at Lighthouse in West Province (Area One)
You can pick up a Thunder Stone by climbing on top of the lighthouse in West Province (Area One), near the location of the Open Sky Titan. Simply ascend the stairs to get to the top.
