Optional | Use Taunt to prevent the Inteleon from using Tearful Look. |
Turns 2~4 | Use Swords Dance to maximize Kingambit's Attack stat. You may only need to use it twice if Inteleon uses Tearful Look on the first turn. |
Turns 5~7 | After Inteleon resets Kingambit's stats, use Swords Dance again to regain Attack boosts. |
Turns 8+ | Use Iron Head to deal super-effective damage. Terastallize when you can to increase damage output. |
Following our build and strategy, it should take around 9-11 turns to take out 7-Star Inteleon.

Gholdengo's part-Steel typing allows it to resist Inteleon's moves, while also dealing super-effective STAB Steel-type damage. Gholdengo's ability Good as Gold also allows it to be immune from Inteleon's Tearful Look, preventing any stat drops.
Offensively, Gholdengo can use Nasty Plot to raise its own Special Attack stat to dish out massive damage with Flash Cannon and Make It Rain later on.

Conquering this raid will give you the opportunity to catch Inteleon itself. It can only be caught once per save file however.
Inteleon will have its Hidden Ability Sniper, max IVs in every stat, and the unique Mightiest Mark which confers it the title of Inteleon the Unrivaled.
Like in previous raids, Shiny Inteleon will not appear during the Tera Raid.
If you want a Shiny Inteleon, you need to breed and hatch for a Shiny Sobble.

Inteleon normally cannot be found in Paldea, making the 7-Star Event Inteleon quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.
These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
How to Unlock 6-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
Remember that Black Tera Raid symbols on the map do not come in any other color except black. Meanwhile, normal Tera Raid symbols are colored according to the Tera Type of the Pokemon in them.
When you're looking for the Tera Raid with the 7-Star Inteleon, keep your eyes peeled for a Black Tera Raid symbol on the map with the Ice-type icon.
Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles
You are able to join Event Raid Dens online. When the event is live, you can use our Tera Raid Board to coordinate a team to take it down!
To participate in the event with other players, you must have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, which is bought separately from the game.
Multiplayer Modes: All New Co-Op Adventure and Connectivity Options
Trainers must also make sure they have the latest version of Poke Portal News in their game. This should automatically download if your Switch is connected to the Internet.
1 | Press the X Button and select "Poke Portal." Make sure your Switch is connected to the internet. |

2 | Select "Mystery Gift." |
3 | Select "Check Poke Portal News." |
Inteleon's own Tera Raid is Shiny-locked, as it was with previous 7-Star Tera Raids.
You can still get a Shiny Inteleon if you catch it in the raid, breed and hatch for a Shiny Sobble, and evolve it, although it will not have the Mightiest Mark.

Inteleon, during the Tera Raid, will have an Ice Tera Type and not its regular Water typing.
Due to this, Inteleon's weakness during the raid will be Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel-type moves. You can use these moves when attacking, but try not to use Fire and Rock-type Pokemon as they are vulnerable to Inteleon's Water-type attacks.
One of Inteleon's initial moves during the raid is Mist. This move protects it from stat-lowering moves for five turns.
This means that while Mist is active on the field, Inteleon cannot be affected by moves such as Screech, Fake Tears, Metal Sound, and the like. These also include moves that deal damage and reduce stats, like Acid Spray.
You can use Haze and Defog to remove Mist from Inteleon's side, then you can start applying stat reductions after clearing it.
Like with previous 7-Star Raids, you can only catch one 7-Star Inteleon, although you may still participate in other Inteleon raids and get the rewards if you complete it.
Additionally, players who caught the Inteleon in Round 1 will not be able to catch Inteleon again even if they participate in Round 2.
Once you've caught the Inteleon, you can easily breed it to produce Sobble Eggs. Like other bred Pokemon, they also have a chance to be Shiny!
However, note that these Sobble will not inherit the Mightiest Mark from the 7-Star Inteleon.
Breeding Guide: How to Breed and Get Eggs
The raid Inteleon has Sniper, which is its Hidden Ability. This Ability boosts the power of critical hit moves.
Gigantamax Inteleon |
---|
The Dynamax and Gigantamax feature introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield is not present in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Therefore, you will not be able to encounter Gigantamax Inteleon during the raid.

Lotta poor info here. First off, if Kingambit is one of the best counters, I'd hate to see the worst. It's got middling SpD that lets it just get demolished by Snipe Shot. But secondly, Mist doesn't prevent damaging moves with secondary effects from lowering stats. Sacred Fire Flutter Mane is amazing for this, and Espathra is a decent enough SpD debuffer because of it.
