Dragon Cheer Glitch Details

Critical Hit Boost Glitch is Fixed

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Dragon Cheer Glitch

In Version 3.0.0 of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Dragon Cheer's critical hit boost on a Dragon-type ally lingers even after the boosted Dragon-type Pokemon was switched out in battle and brought back in. Normally, stat boosts are removed after a Pokemon is switched out in battle, but a bug in the game caused Dragon Cheer's effect to still be active even if the affected Pokemon was switched out.

The critical boost notice in the Check Status screen during the battle will not be present after the affected Pokemon is brought back in battle, but it will still be able to easily deal critical hits.

Fixed in Version 3.0.1 Patch

This glitch has been fixed with the release of the Version 3.0.1 patch for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on February 1, 2024.
