Ability 1:
Pressure
Hidden Ability: Telepathy Nature: Modest ・ Draco Meteor ・ Thunder ・ Fire Blast ・ Hydro Pump Can also use: ・ Gravity ・ Rain Dance |
Ability | Effect |
---|---|
Telepathy | The user dodges attacks from allies. |
As Telepathy is a Doubles Ability, there is no need to plan anything special to counter it in this Tera Raid!
Move | Condition |
---|---|
Shield Up | 4/5 HP Remaining or 3/4 Time Remaing |
Player Stat Reset | 4/5 HP Remaining |
Boss Stat Reset | 3/4 and 1/2 Time Remaining |
At the start of the raid, Dialga will immediately use Trick Room and Palkia will use Gravity.
This makes it so that Dialga can better utilize its Quiet nature's lower Speed stat and Palkia is more accurate with Thunder, Fire Blast, and Hydro Pump.
Dialga will set up Stealth Rocks after the first turn, punishing any strategies that rely on your Pokemon fainting to reset their HP. This is especially bad for Ice-types that will take extra damage from Stealth Rocks.
Palkia on the other hand will use Rain Dance, which makes Thunder 100% accurate and it will also boost the damage of Hydro Pump. On the bright side, if ever Palkia uses Fire Blast, its damage will be halved.
Once it gets down to half HP, Dialga will use Iron Defense and Palkia will reset the Rain.
This makes Dialga more resistant to physical attackers, while Palkia's damage will increase again and Thunder will be fully accurate again since Gravity is gone.

Also Azumarill having 252 Def EVs for Palkia raid, instead of SpDef, looks like a typo.
