He does work great actually but they have a bad strat listed. He wins every time if you equip him with shell bell. Turns 1-2 use Fake Tears (then you will likely die... which is no big deal because it will be your only death). Turns 3-4 use Calm Mind. Turns 5 to the end just keep using Shadow Ball until he is dead.
Flutter Mane strat doesn't work that well. Shadow ball and eruption 2HKO and with 1 Calm Mind and -4 to defence, they 3HKO and you're not really able to damage quick enough. Draining Kiss doesn't really heal well enough with +1 SpA and -4 SpD to outheal Typhlosion's damage for me. Build is correct with IVs EVs, items and moves so what am I missing here?

Typhlosion is revealed to know Eruption, please update guide in accordance to new info
What about Dark Tera Greninja? Gives you the added bonus of resistance to fire moves. Could go swords dance, rain dance, night slash and shadow sneak (for priority and Tera charging). Yes, there is vulnerability to focus blast, but you could throw in double team instead of shadow sneak (or rain dance if someone else brings it) to help your odds with evading that. Thoughts?
