    you need to reset the game. The guide should read "repeat steps 2-4" not "3 and 4." Personally, I like to set to yesterday, save, turn the online date back on, and just reset without saving. Each time the game loads, it rerolls like it's the first time you've logged in. What this house completely neglects to tell you is that most of the auction's listings are nearly ALWAYS bad. Premier balls, Apriballs, feathers and berries are really the only worthwhile options.

    Usually i get items within 2-4 rounds but for a 6-bundle of PPup i actually spent 49 minutes bidding

    As far as I'm aware, you can only pay in cash, and some items get really really expensive. One bundle of 3 PP Max went in the 200,000-300,000 range, and a single Friend Ball was 350,000+

    you can actually use the auction immediately after the gym test you do not need to fight Kofu first
