・400 LP
Kricketot Shell x3
Chewtle Claw x3

Once you've obtained a copy of TM057 - False Swipe, you will be able to craft more copies of it at any Pokemon Center's TM Machine. Make sure you've collected enough League Points and Pokemon Materials!

TM Machines and How to Use Them

Best Kricketot Location

Kricketot are more commonly found near the olive fields at South Province (Area Two). They are also more active at night, so you will have an easier time collecting materials if you hunt for them when the sun has set.

Kricketot Location, Evolution, and Learnset

Best Chewtle Location

Chewtle can be easily spotted if you walk along the river banks at South Province (Area Two). They can also be encountered at other river banks and wetland areas around Paldea.

Chewtle Location, Evolution, and Learnset

TM057 False Swipe Effect

False Swipe Effect

Effect Leaves the target with at least 1 HP.
Type Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Normal Type Moves Category Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Physical Moves
Power 40 Accuracy 100
PP (Max PP) 40 (64) Target Single opponent
Priority 0 Contact?
Special Groups Moves with Less than 60 Base Power

Useful for Catching Pokemon

As False Swipe will always leave the Pokemon you hit with 1 HP remaining (even if they already had 1 HP), and thus cannot KO a Pokemon, it is a very useful move for catching Pokemon, as well as Shiny Hunting. If you are aiming to complete your Pokedex, or capture a particular Pokemon and you don't want to accidentally knock them out, teach this to your Pokemon that will be used for weakening Pokemon!
