Trainers were given another chance to catch a Dragon Tera Type Charizard with the Mightiest Mark during the 7-Star Charizard Tera Raid Event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). The best Pokemon to build for this raid were Sylveon and Flutter Mane. Rerun of the special 7-star Tera Raid Event featuring Charizard with the Dragon Tera Type started right after the Blastoise Tera Raid on March 13, 2024 (00:00 UTC) and ended on March 17, 2024 (23:59 UTC).
Charizard with the Mightiest Mark, the featured Pokemon for this event, can only be caught once. However, you can still participate in this event even after you've caught Charizard if you want to get more of its rewards.
If you caught the Mighty Charizard from its initial 2022 run, you won't be able to catch one during this event series.
Just like previous 7-Star Tera Raid events, the 7-Star Charizard Raid Dens would only spawn in Paldea. If you haven't purchased The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, no need to worry as the Raid Den cannot appear in Kitakami or the Terarium. You also don't need to do the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in order to start this raid.

The Dragon-Tera Type Charizard in the 7-Star Raid is running a Special Attacking set with its main attacking moves being Dragon Pulse and Fire Blast. It also packs Sunny Day which lets it activate its Solar Power Ability, as well as power up its Fire-type moves.
Thankfully it reduces the accuracy of its Hurricane, and Focus Blast has shaky accuracy too. If you're lucky, this Charizard will actually have a hard time hitting you.

Sylveon, with its Hidden Ability Pixilate, can easily take down the Charizard with relative ease. With it being the first ever 7-Star Tera Raid, it was pretty easy to take down compared to newer Raids like Venusaur or Empoleon.

The biggest reward from conquering this raid is the opportunity to catch the Charizard itself. Keep in mind that it can only be caught once per save file. The Lv. 100 Charizard will have its Hidden Ability, max IVs in every stat, and the unique Mightiest Mark which confers it the title of Charizard the Unrivaled.

Unlike its initial Run, this Charizard Raid will also drop every possible flavor of Herba Mystica! Even if you've caught Charizard, you can keep grinding this event for amazing rewards!

Sandwiches give various meal powers when consumed. If you want to gain even more rewards after defeating Charizard during its Raid Event, make sure to eat this sandwich before challenging the raid!
Meal Powers last for 30 minutes, so try to find and beat as many raids as possible during that time!
All Raid Power Sandwich Recipes
Charizard normally cannot be found in Paldea, making the 7-Star Event Charizard quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.
These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
How to Unlock 6-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
Remember that Black Tera Raid symbols on the map do not come in any other color except black. Meanwhile, normal Tera Raid symbols are colored according to the Tera Type of the Pokemon in them.
When you're looking for the Tera Raid with the 7-Star Charizard, keep your eyes peeled for a Black Tera Raid symbol on the map with the Dragon-type icon.
Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles
You are able to join Event Raid Dens online. When the event is live, you can use our Tera Raid Board to coordinate a team to take it down!
To participate in the event with other players, you must have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, which is bought separately from the game.

Trainers must also make sure they have the latest version of Poke Portal News in their game. This should automatically download if your Switch is connected to the Internet.
