All Status Conditions and Effects
STAB is an abbreviation that stands for Same-Type Attack Bonus. When a Pokemon uses a move with a type that matches its own, it will deal 1.5x the normal amount of damage with that move.
How to Use STAB Effectively
A Pokemon's Nature will affect the growth of 2 of its different stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense). Nature will increase the growth of 1 of the stats by 10%, while decreasing the growth of another by 10%.

Moves are a Pokemon's selectable actions which oftentimes decide the outcome of Pokemon Battles.

Experience Points or EXP are points given to a Pokemon that decide when a Pokemon levels up. Pokemon have different growth rates, summarized into types: Fast, Medium Fast, Medium Slow, Slow, Fluctuating and Erratic.
Pokemon knock each other out as a result of damaging each other with Physical and Special moves, with the amount of Damage decided by the game through in-game calculations.

Trapping Moves |
Priority Moves are moves that will always go first or last depending on the priority. These moves have been an instrumental part of competitive Pokemon as they allow you to gain an advantage in tempo over your opponent.
Critical hits deal 1.5 times the damage of the base power of the move and ignores defensive boosts. The probability of landing critical hits depend on the critical hit ratio your Pokemon, or the move itself, has.

Weather can be changed as an effect of some moves. Some Pokemon gain certain advantages with different kinds of Weather on the field.
