Round 2 of the 7-star Tera Raid Event featuring Serperior with the Grass Tera Type is now over! The second round ran from June 21, 2024 until June 23, 2024, along with the rerun of the Blissey Tera Shard Raid Event!
Serperior with the Mightiest Mark, the featured Pokemon for this event, could only be caught once. However, you could still participate in this event even after you've caught Serperior if you wanted to get more of its rewards.
Tera Raid Event Location
Just like previous 7-Star Tera Raid events, the 7-Star Serperior Raid Dens would only spawn in Paldea. If you haven't purchased The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, no need to worry as the Raid Den cannot appear in Kitakami or the Terarium. You also don't need to do the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in order to start this raid.

Serperior has Contrary
The most common gimmick for Serperior is to pair up its hidden ability, Contrary, with Leaf Storm so it can sweep by building up Sp. Atk buffs quickly while dishing out a ton of damage.
Make sure you're prepared by either going for a Pokemon with either Unaware or Skill Swap to break the gimmick. Skill Swap has an added bonus where Leaf Storm will be a detriment to Serperior instead of a boon.
Avoid Allies with Intimidate
If you're trying to solo this raid without a Skill Swap user or have Unaware, you might have trouble if you get paired up with an NPC that has Intimidate. This will only boost the damage of Serperior's Breaking Swipe and Iron Tail.

The best counters for the Serperior Tera Raid are Skeledirge and Galarian Slowking! The main focus is Serperior's Contrary and Leaf Storm combo where you either take away Contrary and just have it shred its own Sp.Atk or just ignore the stat boosts altogether.

How to Join 7-Star Serperior Raid Event
Unlock 6-Star Tera Raids to Participate
Serperior normally cannot be found in Paldea, making the 7-Star Event Serperior quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.
These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
How to Unlock 6-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
Black Tera Raids vs. Normal Tera Raids
Remember that Black Tera Raid symbols on the map do not come in any other color except black. Meanwhile, normal Tera Raid symbols are colored according to the Tera Type of the Pokemon in them.
When you're looking for the Tera Raid with the 7-Star Serperior, keep your eyes peeled for a Black Tera Raid symbol on the map with the Grass-type icon.
