Part 2 of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, the Indigo Disk, has now released as of 1 AM UTC on December 14, 2023 for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)! Read on to learn the exact release time, countdown timer, and more details about the Indigo Disk DLC.

The Indigo Disk DLC Part 2 has officially gone live as of December 14 at 1 AM UTC, equivalent to 8 PM EST.

You can confirm the update from the Home screen on the Nintendo Switch by Selecting + (Options) on Pokemon Scarlet or Violet > Software Update > Via the Internet. Some users have still not been able to get a software update, so continue clicking the button, turning your Switch off and on, and accessing the eShop with the account until you are able to access it. Even if this still doesn't work, note that sometimes it can take time to access the DLC, so it's best to be patient. If you have any tips for other users for getting into the DLC or need help getting in, let others know in the comments.
All regions will get access to the DLC at the exact same time, instead of launching at midnight local time of your region. Thus, local dates and time of release vary depending on your region.

The Indigo Disk is the second part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This second half of the DLC will arrive on December 14, 2023 and will introduce new Pokemon, new features, returning Pokemon, and more.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero which includes both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk is priced at $34.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
A lot of new features have been teased in the trailers and previews for this DLC, including the 19th Tera Type, the League Club, room customization, Poke Ball throwing style customization, and a new flying ability for your ride Pokemon!
Just like in the Teal Mask DLC, several TMs from previous Pokemon games will make a comeback in the Indigo Disk DLC. There also appear to be brand new moves that may be introduced as TMs in this expansion.
Several new Pokemon including Archaludon, Raging Bolt, Iron Crown, and the Legendary Pokemon Terapagos will be introduced in the Indigo Disk DLC.
All starter Pokemon from previous generations are coming back in this DLC! A good selection of Pokemon from all generations will be added in this DLC, and a few Alolan forms of Pokemon have also been revealed.
While we aren't sure of the size of the Indigo Disk Pokedex yet, the Pokemon that have been revealed through the trailers appear to be more than the Pokemon that have made a return in the Teal Mask DLC.
