Ability: Long Reach (Hidden Ability) IVs: 31 IVs in Every Stat Nature: Brave ・ Brave Bird ・ Low Kick ・ Spirit Shackle ・ Leaf Blade Extra Moves ・ Air Cutter ・ Feather Dance ・ Swords Dance |
This Flying Tera Type Decidueye is running a physical attacking set, with its main moves being Spirit Shackle and Leaf Blade as its primary STAB, with Brave Bird getting a boost from its Flying Tera.
It also has Low Kick to round off its coverage and deals more damage against heavier targets.
Decidueye also has Air Cutter and Swords Dance as extra moves, with the latter boosting its Attack by two stages. Since Decidueye also knows Feather Dance to lower the target's Attack by two stages, it's best to use a Special Attacker against this fight.
Decidueye has Long Reach as its Ability during the raid. This ability turns all of its contact moves into non-contact moves, protecting it from the effects of such things as Rocky Helmet and Flame Body.

#1 | Metal Sound | Charge |
#2 | Metal Sound | Electro Drift |
The Magnezone should start by using Metal Sound to start lowering Decidueye's Sp. Def stat.
Miraidon should use Charge to double Electro Drift's base power in preparation for turn 2.
For the second turn, Magnezone should keep using Metal Sound to reach -4 Sp. Def on Decidueye.
Miraidon should then use Electro Drift which should result in a One-Hit KO.
Following our recommended build and strategy, it should take you just 2 turns to defeat Decidueye.
This strategy makes use of Florges' Symbiosis, and Chi-Yu's Beads of Ruins ability to empower Miraidon as much as possible, and defeat Decidueye in one hit
This a slightly modified one-shot set up from Reddit user Shiromi55.

At the start of the raid, Umbreon should use Fake Tears to lower Decidueye's Sp. Def stat by two stages.
Florges should use Fairy Wind to deal minimal Fairy-type damage to all Pokemon on the field, activating Miraidon's Weakness Policy, and Florges Symbiosis, passing the Choice Specs onto Miraidon.
Chi-Yu should then use the Go All Out! Cheer to maximize the team's damage.
With all the stat boosts prepared, Miraidon should use Electro Drift to wipe out Decidueye in just one turn.
This strategy makes use of Crabominable's Anger Point ability to immediately get +6 Attack, and defeat Decidueye in one hit.

The biggest reward from conquering this raid is the opportunity to catch the Decidueye itself. Keep in mind that it can only be caught once per save file.
Decidueye will have its Hidden Ability Long Reach, max IVs in every stat, and the unique Mightiest Mark which confers it the title of Decidueye the Unrivaled.
You will not be able to encounter any Shiny Decidueye for the entire duration of the raid event. If you want a Shiny Decidueye, you need to breed and hatch for a Shiny Rowlet.
You can also get useful rewards for completing the Decidueye Tera Raid. These range from treasures you can sell to items you can use to train competitively viable Pokemon. Furthermore, you can obtain some of these rewards as many times as you can as long as you clear the Decidueye raid!

Decidueye normally cannot be found in Paldea, making the 7-Star Event Decidueye quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.
These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
How to Unlock 6-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
Remember that Black Tera Raid symbols on the map do not come in any other color except black. Meanwhile, normal Tera Raid symbols are colored according to the Tera Type of the Pokemon in them.
When you're looking for the Tera Raid with the 7-Star Decidueye, keep your eyes peeled for a Black Tera Raid symbol on the map with the Poison-type Pokemon icon.
Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles
You are able to join Event Raid Dens online. When the event is live, you can use our Tera Raid Board to coordinate a team to take it down!
To participate in the event with other players, you must have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, which is bought separately from the game.

Trainers must also make sure they have the latest version of Poke Portal News in their game. This should automatically download if your Switch is connected to the Internet.

Decidueye, during the Tera Raid, will have a Flying Tera Type and not its regular Grass and Ghost typing. Its weakness will be Electric, Rock, and Ice-type moves, so make sure to attack with those!
Like with previous 7-Star Raids, you can only catch one 7-Star Decidueye, although you may still participate in other Decidueye raids and get the rewards if you complete it.
Additionally, players who caught the Decidueye in Round 1 cannot catch Decidueye again even if they participate in Round 2.
Once you've caught the Decidueye, you can easily breed it to produce Rowlet Eggs. Like other bred Pokemon, they also have a chance to be Shiny!
However, note that these Rowlet will not inherit the Mightiest Mark from the 7-Star Decidueye.
Breeding Guide: How to Breed and Get Eggs
The raid Decidueye that you will encounter will have Long Reach, which is its Hidden Ability. This Ability allows it to use moves without making direct contact to its target.

At the time of writing, Hisuian Decidueye is not obtainable during the Tera Raid event. The Tera Raid only features Alolan Decidueye; and Hisuian Decidueye does not appear in the raid.
It is likely that Decidueye's Hisuian form will be added in a future update like Hisuian Zorua and Hisuian Zoroark.
