Although Tatsugiri has no evolution, it can come in three different forms depending on its color and can either be pink, orange, or yellow. Each form has a unique effect on Dondozo's attack when they are used together.

Order Up Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Dragon Type Moves Raises a specific stat by one stage depending on the form of Tatsugiri in the user's mouth: Attack with Curly Form, Defense with Droopy Form. Speed with Stretchy Form.

When using Tatsugiri and Dondozo together in battle, Tatsugiri's Commander ability will allow the two Pokemon to work together and boost Dondozo's stats by two levels when performing the Order Up attack.

This can only be done during Double Battles. Tatsugiri will not be usable during the double battle upon using this ability.
