The Chair Maker is an NPC who gives the player new chair designs for their picnics in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Read on to see where to find him, the Chair and Herba Mystica Rewards he gives, as well as all the chair designs and how to get them.
List of Contents
After getting all of the possible chair designs, the chair maker will gift you a set of Herba Mystica. Try and get this since the set contains two of each Herba Mystica!
When you talk to the chair maker, he will ask you to present some tablecloth designs to him. When you do so, he will get inspired and start to make chair designs based on the tablecloths that you have.
In order to get a specific style of chair, you will need to first have the matching tablecloth style.
Majority of the tablecloths can be bought from Picnic-Knacks stores in Paldea, with the exception of the B&W Grass Tablecloth which needs to be to be won by doing the Olive Roll Challenge in under 2:30.
You wil need to give the Table Cloths above to the Chair Maker NPC for a Chair of the same name and pattern.
In order to get the B&W Grass Tablecloth, you will need to complete the Rerun of the Olive Roll challenge in under 2:30. The Rerun is more difficult that the original Gym Test, so it will be difficult to beat the required time.
The easiest way to beat the Olive Roll challenge in under 2:30 is to take it slow. If you try to go fast, you may mess up and the olive will bounce to place you wouldn't want it to. The time required to beat is generous so take your time and control the olive as carefully as you can.
The Chair Maker is located to the south of Kitakami Hall next to a picnic table. There are no requirements needed in order for him to show up.
The option to change chairs now shows up as an option when you choose to redecorate your picnic setup. Go setup a picnic and choose which designs suits you best!
