Shiny Charm is a Key Item in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). See the effects of Shiny Charm as well as how to obtain it by catching and registering all 400 Pokemon in the Paldea Pokedex!

How to Get Shiny Charm
Complete the Pokedex
Jacq will present you a Shiny Charm as a reward for capturing and registering all Pokemon appearing in the Paldea Pokedex.
Once you have caught all 400 Pokemon in either Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet, you can visit Jacq in the Academy to receive your Shiny Charm!

Because the Shiny Charm is a Key Item, the chances of encountering a Shiny Pokemon will always be applied once you acquire it.
