It Will Not Have Voice Over Dialogue

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Voice Acting

Screenshot from the August 3 Pokemon Presents.

Voice acting will not be included in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet during the cutscenes or interactions between the characters. Dialogue will not be heard via voiceovers, as shown by the Pokemon Presents video presentation that premiered last August 3rd. Additionally, no Pokemon game developed by Game Freak has had voice acting for dialogue.

However, recently, the non-mainline game New Pokemon Snap (developed by Bandai Namco) has had voice over dialogue in important story cut scenes, which is what some fans were hoping to see applied to some degree in the mainline series.
