Removes Effects of Weather and Terrain

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Teraform Zero Effect

Teraform Zero removes any active weather or terrain effects in battle once it activates. This means that Terastallizing Terapagos will remove any weather and terrain in the field.

Do note that after Terapagos transforms and initially activates Teraform Zero, weather and terrain can still be set, as the Ability only activates once and does not last for a set amount of turns. Switching out Terapagos and bringing it back in the field again will also not reactivate Teraform Zero.

Terastallize Terapagos to Remove Weather and Terrain

With these effects in mind, you can effectively use Teraform Zero to remove weather and terrain effects by simply Terastallizing Terapagos. This is useful against Pokemon that rely on weather and terrain!

Activates When Terapagos Terastallizes

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Terapagos Stellar Form

Teraform Zero will only activate when Terapagos is in its Stellar Form, which it gets whenever it Terastallizes from its Terastal Form.

Replaces Tera Shell

Once Terapagos Terastallizes, Tera Shell will no longer be active as it will be replaced with Teraform Zero.

This means that Terapagos, while in its Stellar Form, will take damage normally at full health, instead of being reduced.
