A Paldean Adventure is a new event in Pokemon GO that allows you to catch the Paldean starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Read on to see how to catch these Pokemon in Great Balls, Ultra Balls or even Master Balls, and how to find the largest and smallest versions of these Pokemon.

Catch the Gen 9 Starters in Pokemon GO's New Paldean Adventure Event
A Paldean Adventure is a new event in Pokemon GO that allows you to catch Pokemon from the Paldea region like Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Lechonk.
This event will run from 10:00 am Tuesday, September 5, 2023 to 10:00 am Sunday, September 10, 2023 local time.
You Can Catch the Gen 9 Starter Pokemon in Different Pokeballs!

During the A Paldean Adventure
event, the Paldean starters, Sprigatio, Fuecoco, and Quaxly are appearing for the first time in Pokemon GO for you to catch. Currently, it is impossible to catch shiny versions of the Paldean Starters in Pokemon GO.
Use This Opporunity to Catch the Paldean Starters in Different Balls
Pokemon GO allows you to catch Starter Pokemon in a Great Ball, Ultra Ball, or even a Master Ball. This is the only way to get the Paldean Starters in non-Poke Ball balls at the moment.
Breed the Starters to Get More of Them in Great Balls or Ultra Balls
If you want more Paldean Starters in Great Balls or Ultra Balls, breed them in Pokemon Scarlet or Violet in order for the offspring to inherit those balls. This is also the only way to get shiny versions of the Paldean Starters in Great Balls or Ultra Balls.
Note that Pokemon caught in Master Balls will always have an offpring inside a Poke Ball since Master Balls cannot be passed down via breeding.
How to Breed Pokemon and Get Eggs
Transfer Paldean Starters from Pokemon GO to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
If you want to use the Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly that you obtained in Pokemon GO in Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet, you will be able to transfer it from the mobile game, into Pokemon HOME, then into Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Do note that this is irreversible as you cannot move a Pokemon you sent to Pokemon HOME back to Pokemon GO.

Easier to Check Pokemon Size in Pokemon GO
When you are catching a Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly, a special effect will play indicating that they are either the largest or smallest of their species upon encountering them.
Have Their Size Checked in Pokemon SV to Get a Jumbo or Mini Mark
You can then transfer these Pokemon over to Pokemon Scarlet or Violet and have the Pachirisu lady in Mesagoza give them the Jumbo or Mini Mark if they are the largest or smallest of their species respectivley.
The NPC is located by the flower bed next to the West Pokemon Center in Mesagoza.
