The Teal Mask Update for Pokemon HOME is now live for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)! In version 3.1.1, players will be able to transfer additional Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! An issue regarding Abilities changed with items will also be fixed in this patch. Read on to learn about the bug fix, transferrable Pokemon and more!

Pokemon HOME 3.1.1 Update
Version 3.1.1 for Pokemon HOME was added on Septermber 27th, 06:00 UTC. This update fixed some errors with the user interface and the application should now work as normal.
Pokemon HOME 3.1.0 Update
Pokemon HOME Undergoing Maintenance
Pokemon HOME will be undergoing maintenance from 0:00 UTC on September 13th until 06:00 UTC on the same day. Players will have staggered log in times which will run until September 14th at 06:00 UTC.
UPDATE 9/13: As of midnight UTC, the Pokemon HOME maintenance has begun! Maintenance will continue until 6:00 AM UTC, and staggered logins means that some players won't be able to access their HOME Pokemon until 24 hours after that time at the latest, so it might take as long as 5-29 hours after the release of the Teal Mask DLC to get in.
September 13 Ability Data Tracking Update

A bug involving the effects of Ability changing items being reverted will be addressed and fixed in the upcoming 3.1.0 patch for Pokemon HOME, as well as allowing compatability with The Teal Mask DLC and importing additional Pokemon.

This issue occurs when a Pokemon caught in one game moves to another game via Pokemon Home, and an item is used to change its Ability. This transferred Pokemon will not have its new Ability in other games besides the game where the item was used.

Catching a Pokemon and changing its Ability before transferring it to another game via Pokemon HOME will make it so this issue does not occur.
How to Fix Affected Pokemon
These two methods will ensure that the affected Pokemon will have its new Ability.
Whatever Ability your Pokemon has the first time it is transferred to Pokemon HOME following the 3.1.0 update will be the Ability your Pokemon keeps.
First Method
Deposit your affected Pokemon into Pokemon HOME, then move it to the game where its Ability was changed before the 3.1.0 update, then deposit it back to Pokemon HOME.
Second Method
Before updating to version 3.1.0, keep your Pokemon in the game where its Ability was changed, then deposit it to Pokemon HOME following the 3.1.0 update.
Transferrable Pokemon
When the 3.1.0 update goes live, trainers will be able to transfer Pokemon from The Teal Mask to Pokemon HOME.

Transferred Pokemon Moves
A Pokemon's moveset may differ between different Pokemon games as each game has its own move data for each Pokemon. Ability data not being stored in the same way, may likely be a bug or oversight.
