New Terastal Forms for Ogerpon and Terapagos have been revealed during the August Pokemon Presents for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) DLC! Read on to learn more about these new Tera Forms in the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLCs!

New Tera Forms for Ogerpon and Terapagos

During the August 8th Pokemon Presents Video, new Terastal Forms for Ogerpon and Terapagos were revealed. These Tera Forms are unlike the normal Terastal Forms we have seen so far, since these forms change the Pokemon's appearance drastically, especially with Terapagos' case.
The new Tera Forms also do not have the usual Tera Crown that normal Pokemon have, so new moves or abilities may be present alongside these forms.

New Tera Form Speculation
Mechanic Similar to Dynamax and Gigantamax
Similar to Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing in Pokemon Sword and Shield, the new Tera Form may be limited to specific Pokemon, while the current Terastallization may be more akin to Dynamaxing, where any Pokemon can achieve this form.
More Tera Forms in the DLC
Currently, only Ogerpon and Terapagos have the special Terastal Form, but more Pokemon may also receive a special Terastal Form in the future, either as part of Tera Raid Events, or through Mystery Gifts once the DLC releases.
Some candidates that could possibly receive new Tera Forms are the three Paldean Starters, as well as the Paradox Pokemon, specifically the Legendary Paradox Pokemon.
