Does the attacker Mew having Def investment have something to do with the Psystrike?
It would make more sense to increase a Support Mew's HP and Sp.Def EV's Not it's Sp. Attack and Sp.Def. Snarl and Acid Spray is meant to reduce damage from both sides respectively. IMO. I think giving mew more HP will help it's Support Build.
