By aligning a Pokemon's original Type with its Tera Type and using a move of that same Type, you can deal maximum damage. Therefore, if you are unsure of what Tera Type to go with, that is a great starting point for using Garchomp and Sylveon in story playthroughs or Tera Raids.

You can obtain a Ground or Dragon Type Garchomp and Fairy Type Sylveon by catching wild Gibles and Eevees respectively, but they also appear fully evolved in these Tera Raids with those Tera Types and better IVs compared to those caught in wild encounters.
