You can pick-up a Dawn Stone rather early into the game. Just head Northeast of Levincia and find it on the ground!

There's also a Dawn Stone waiting for you in the area Northwest of Medali. Similar to the first Dawn Stone, the second one will be waiting for you to pick it up!

There's a chance for Dawn Stones to be obtained from sparkling dropped items northwest of Zappapico. Note that the locations of these items are random, so be sure to pick up as many as you can!

You can obtain this item by interacting with sparkling dropped items on the ground. These are laid out randomly around the area, so you may have to scout around to find the item.

You can get Dawn Stone as a reward for filling up the Paldea Pokedex and catching 270 Pokemon.
You can get this item on the Pokedex app's rewards menu by pressing the X button.

You can obtain Dawn Stone from auctions that take place in the market area in Porto Marinada. You need to make the highest bid to obtain the item successfully.
Auctions in Porto Marinada are unlocked after clearing Cascarrafa's Gym Challenge, and the featured items will change daily both in-game and in real-time but can be manually rerolled by closing the game and advancing the time of your console by 72 minutes.
If the merchant doesn't sell any items, make sure to change the date on your Switch's system to refresh their inventory.
