Effect An item to be held by a Pokémon. The holder copies its opponent's stat boost. This item disappears after use. This item also allows a Pokemon to receive an Egg Move from another Pokemon during Picnics, provided that it has a vacant move slot.

Copies an Opponent's Stat Boosts

In battles, Pokemon holding Mirror Herb will copy its opponent's stat boosts. The item is then consumed after the user raises the stats affected.

The item will activate once any of the opposing Pokemon's stats are raised, which means that the holder may sometimes boost a stat that it may not need in certain situations.

Is Useful for Transferring Egg Moves

When holding a Mirror Herb, Pokemon with empty move slots will be able to learn compatible Egg Moves from other members of their party during Picnics. This is an amazing quality-of-life improvement and does not require Pokemon to be of the same Egg Group.
