Double Shock is a Electric-type Physical Move in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Learn about the move's type, power, accuracy, PP, and effect, as well as what Pokemon learn it.

Double Shock Effect and Type Effectiveness

Double Shock Effect

Effect Causes the user to lose its Electric typing if used by an Electric type. The move will fail if the user is not an Electric type.
Type Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Electric Type Moves Category Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Physical Moves
Power 120 Accuracy 100
PP (Max PP) 5 (8) Target Single opponent
Priority 0 Contact? TBD

Can Be Used While Terastallized

Pawmot will still be able to use Double Shock as long as it is Terastallized and if its Tera Type is Electric, even if it used the move before Terastallizing where it has already lost its Electric typing.

This effectively allows it to use Double Shock as many times as possible and deal massive damage, as long as it is Terastallized.

Electric Typing Is Regained When Switched In and Out

Pawmot will be able to regain its Electric typing after using Double Shock if it is switched out and brought back again in the field. This will allow it to use Double Shock again.

Hello Anon! A Pokemon will regain their Electric typing after using Double Shock if it switches out and returns in the field.
