Ogre Oustin' Minigame Details: Rewards and How to Play
In The Timeless Woods, you are tasked by Perrin with taking photos of various Pokemon in a variety of settings and poses, similar to Pokemon Snap, and have her judge them as a mini game! You will need to make full use of the new Roto-Stick in order to clear these tasks!
Photography Mini Game Guide
The Teal Mask DLC offers new mass outbreaks for Pokemon in the Paldean and Kitakami regions. Previously non-mass outbreak Pokemon from the base game have outbreaks in the DLC, such as Annihilape, Dudunsparce, and more!
Mass outbreak events feature swarms of the same Pokemon species appearing in the same location with a boosted chance of having a specific Mark. These limited-time events can allow you to catch Pokemon not originally encountered in the Paldea region and base Scarlet and Violet game. Marks grant a special title along with the name of your Pokemon when you send it out to battle.
New Emotes are available from different NPCs located in the Kitakami Region. Make use of this feature along with your Roto-Stick to take even better photos of you, your friends, and your Pokemon!
List of All New Emotes and Locations in The Teal Mask DLC
New regional meals are available in Kitakami, along with the ever-useful Meal Powers you can get from eating them!
Locations of all Fast Travel Points, TMs, and Wild Tera Pokemon in the new Kitakami Region.

Mossui Town is kind of like your Home Town away from home, while on your school trip in Kitakami! The town appears to be buzzing with energy, activities and Pokemon, and rich in culture and tradition! Here you can participate in festivals, visit a variety of shops and stalls, and purchase a plethora of returning Isle of Armor Moves as TM's!
Things to Do in Mossui Town
Much like the base game of Scarlet and Violet featured the 10 Sights of Paldea, Kitakami has six scenic spots that are marked as the 6 Wonders of Kitakami. We recommend visiting each one as they all will serve as fast-travel points once their sign has been inspected.
Kitakami has a brand new map with twelve new fast travel points. Many of these fast travel points can be unlocked by going through the Teal Mask DLC story, but some locations like the 6 Wonders of Kitakami may need some exploration.
All Fast Travel Points in Kitakami
Find all the fixed Pokemon locations and wild Tera Pokemon locations in our interactive map. You can also find a full habitat map list of all the Kitakami Pokemon through the link below.

A new area means new Pokemon to discover! Kitakami will host its own roster of Pokemon that were previously not available in the base game.

Isle of Armor Tutor Moves Returning in The Teal Mask!
The Teal Mask offers a new adventure where you'll be joining an outdoors study program in the Land of Kitakami held jointly between their academy and another school.
Your trip seems to coincide with a festival regularly held in the village in Kitakami during this season, so the village is bustling with various street vendors and stalls. Unravel the mysteries behind the folktales that have been passed down in this land.
Mossui Town is kind of like your Home Town away from home, while on your school trip in Kitakami! The town appears to be buzzing with energy, activities and Pokemon, and rich in culture and tradition!
Mossui Town: Teal Mask DLC Base Town
In Mosssui Town, there are no available regular Pokemon Centers. Instead, we have everything thats regularly available in a regular Pokemon Center, other than the Shop, under a small tent just outside a building.
Instead of Pokemon Center Stores, Kitakami seems to rely on Local Stores and Businesses in order for trainers to buy their essentials.
These could mean that certain regional specialties, like the Pewter Crunchies, Rage Candy Bar, Lava Cookie, and Old Gateau, can be made available!
Kitakami is also home to a strange mountain in the shape of an oni's head. It is currently unknown whether or not this mountain has any connection to Ogerpon.
On the East-side of town, at the Kitakami Hall, you can participate in the Festival of Masks! This is a traditional festival with a deep history, that involves various stalls, Pokemon, and you guessed it, masks!
Once released, to start the main act of The Teal Mask storyline, the Player only needs to have begun their Treasure Hunt! This can be done around a few hours after choosing your starter.
This could mean the characters Nemona, Penny, and Arven might not appear in the DLC as they are in the middle of their own Treasure Hunt. But don't worry as the characters Carmine and Kieran will be there with you in your journey in Kitakami!
Beginner's Guide: Tips and Tricks to Get Started
Players who pre-order The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero on or before October 31, 2023 will receive a special redeem code for a special Hisuian Zoroark. The Hisuian Zoroark will know Tera Blast, Bitter Malice, Nasty Plot, and Happy Hour, which it cannot learn through normal gameplay. It will also have a Dark Tera Type, as well as a Charismatic Mark.
