    Scizor might be better than Corviknight after the first two gyms, since it is only weak to fire and there is no fire gym and Corviknight is also weak to fire anyway. Being a bug, it would help more with the psychic gym and wouldn't have to worry about the electric gym. It would also resist the ice gym instead of being neutral towards it.

    I would also question Clodsire as your late game choice for story team. With only 20 speed it is going to get hit in every battle. It has fantastic HP and Special Def, but it has below average defense, so it isn't an all around wall. Walls are also less effective in story playthroughs since you'll be going through multiple battles in a row and the little bit of damage they take in each battle adds up. It has decent typing, but I don't know if it is a first choice rec.

    Pawmot is almost a strong upgrade over Raichu with its HP stat being 10 more, its attack stat being 30 more, its defense stat being 20 more, and speed being almost the same, only 5 lower. The only stat that matters where Raichu is clearly superior is special defense, which is 25 points higher than Pawmot's. However, some of that is made up for by having more HP however. Raichu wants to sweep with its 110 speed, but it's low attack stats won't let it. You get a ton more attack power with Pawmot.
