Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Eeveelution
No announcement has been made regarding the inclusion of a new Eeveelution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Read on to learn about the possibility of new Eeveelutions in the new games, as well as how Eeveelutions were introduced in previous Pokemon games.

Will There Be A New Eeveelution?

Currently No Announcement

Eevee is confirmed to be in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but there is currently no announcement regarding the possibility of new Eeveelutions appearing in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. We'll keep you up-to-date as more information gets revealed!

Mainline Games Do Not Always Have New Eeveelutions

There were notably no new Eeveelutions for the past two mainline Pokemon games in Pokemon Sun and Moon, and Sword and Shield, with Sylveon being the latest addition in 2013's Pokemon X and Y.

What Are Eeveelutions?

Pokemon That Evolve From Eevee

Eevee has the unique ability to evolve into powerful Pokemon of different types, famously known as 'Eeveelutions'. One of these Eeveelutions, Sylveon is confirmed to be making an appearance in Scarlet and Violet.

How to Evolve Eevee

Evolution chart
	Via Fire Stone ←		High Happiness + Eevee knows a Fairy-type Move →
	Via Thunder Stone ←		Daytime + High Happiness →
	Via Water Stone ←		Nighttime + High Happiness →
	Via Leaf Stone ←		Via Ice Stone →

Eevee must know a Fairy-type move in order to evolve into Sylveon, otherwise it will evolve into Espeon or Umbreon

As of this writing, there are only 8 known Eeveelutions that Eevee can evolve into.
