GTA 6 Release Date and Time
GTA 6 is slated to release in Fall of 2025 exclusively for the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S, as reported within Take-Two's financial report for the fiscal year 2024.
It has been confirmed that it will not be having a release for last-gen consoles. Additionally, it will not be coming to PC on its initial release date as well. There is no information about the exact time of the release yet, so stay tuned for updates as we’ll update this article as soon as we get more information.
Though it has been rumored that GTA 6 might be looking at a delay from its original time frame of late 2025 to somewhere around 2026, Take-Two clarified that they are still looking to release with no intended delays, and will be striving to deliver the best possible gaming experience on time.

GTA 6's first trailer, although was supposed to be released on the 5th, had to be released 10 hours earlier due to the video getting leaked and circulating fast online.
November 8, 2023
GTA 6's existence was formally announced on November 8, 2023 during GTA 5's 10-year anniversary, wherein the official Rockstar Games' Twitter(X) account stated in the thread that they will be releasing the first trailer for GTA 6 a month later.
