Blueberry Prologue Online Competition

The Blueberry Prologue was an official Online Competition that was held from January 12-14 that celebrated the released of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) Indigo Disk DLC. This Online Competition allowed the use of all Blueberry Pokedex Pokemon including the Paradox Legendaries and Terapagos! Using Dragon Cheer is Allowed

A glitch regarding the move Dragon Cheer was discovered where affected Pokemon retain their critical hit boosts even after being switched out.

This glitch will be fixed in the Version 3.0.1 patch of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but it was announced that Dragon Cheer will still be usable in online battles, including Regulation F Ranked Battles and the Blueberry Prologue Online Competition, even if its effect is glitched.

It will not be usable, however, in official VGC tournaments like the Portland and Charlote Regionals.

Whimsicott has Tera Ghost, which will let it get an immunity to Fake Out without having to use Protect. This will often be a poor Tera choice, however, but the option may be relevant in some matches.

Farigiraf can Tera Dark, which can prove vital in matchups against the likes of Incineroar who may try to inflict damage with Knock Off

Gouging Fire can protect itself from super-effective Ground and Rock-type Attacks with Tera Grass, while Venusaur can protect itself from a super-effective Fire-type Attack with Tera Water.

Incineroar and Rillaboom will be a common pair to see in the Blueberry Prologue. Luckily, the team has plenty of ways to stop them from being effective. Farigiraf's Armor Tail can prevent Fake Out and Priority Grassy Glide, while Whimsicott's Covert Cloak can protect it from Fake Out as well.

Between Gouging Fire, Walking Wake, and Torkoal, the team has plenty of ways to deal super-effective damage too.

Raging Bolt will often come with partners who can support it with Fake Out or Intimidate, or even Screens. This Pokemon may prove to be a strong contender in the Blueberry Prologue because of the absence of its natural predators, Chien-Pao and Flutter Mane. A well placed Draco Meteor or Stomping Tantrum will help you win against Raging Bolt.

Only One User Per System

Only one user per game version (Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet) may participate per each Nintendo Switch system. If your Nintendo Account is registered to users on multiple Nintendo Switch systems, you may participate with only one user and system per game version.

Blueberry Prologue Rewards and Prizes
