Dondozo Has Unaware!
Don't bother with setting up buffs as the raid boss has Unaware! Go for strategies like Gastro Acid with Victreebel and Serperior, or Skill Swap with one of your Supports. Debuffs will still work though so make sure to plan accordingly!
Reset for NPC Allies with Intimidate
If you want to solo this Raid, try to look for NPC Allies with the Ability Intimidate. This can be immensely helpful, as allies will almost always faint every turn, having them repeatedly send out and lowering Dondozo's Attack.
The best allies in this situation would be Arcanine, Staraptor, and Paldean Tauros.

The best counters for the Dondozo Tera Raid are Bellibolt and Sinistcha! Bellibolt is a Tera Raid staple that can charge its own Electric type attacks while healing damage back up with Acid Spray boosted Parabolic Charges.
Meanwhile, Sinistcha is immune to Normal type attacks while resisting Dondozo's Water type moves. Paired with a moveset that can lower Dondozo's damage like Matcha Gotcha and Strength Sap!

How to Join 7-Star Dondozo Raid Event
Unlock 6-Star Tera Raids to Participate
While Dondozo can normally be found in Paldea, the 7-Star Event Dondozo will have the Mightiest Mark making it quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.
These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
How to Unlock 6-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
Black Tera Raids vs. Normal Tera Raids
Remember that Black Tera Raid symbols on the map do not come in any other color except black. Meanwhile, normal Tera Raid symbols are colored according to the Tera Type of the Pokemon in them.
When you're looking for the Tera Raid with the 7-Star Dondozo, keep your eyes peeled for a Black Tera Raid symbol on the map with the Water-type icon.
