Start Date: 2024/08/23 00:00 UTC End Date: 2024/09/01 23:59 UTC |

Rewards |
7-Star Dragonite Defeat "Dragonite the Unrivaled" in a Black Crystal Tera Raid during the event and you'll get a Normal Tera Type Dragonite with the Mightiest Mark. Treasures and Battle Items Obtain various items which you can use to build battle-ready Pokemon or sell in stores for money. |
Unlock Requirements |
Unlock 6-Star Tera Raid Battles to Participate To do this, you'll need to complete the Academy Ace Tournament, then do 8-10 4-Star or 5-Star Raids until you get a call from Jacq. |
The 7-Star Tera Raid Event featuring Dragonite with a Normal Tera Type is now over. The event ran from August 23, 2024 (00:00 UTC) up until September 1, 2024 (11:59 UTC) in tandem with the Powerhouse Pokemon Outbreak Event.
Dragonite with the Mightiest Mark, the featured Pokemon for this event, could only be caught once. However, you could still participate in this event even after you've caught Dragonite if you wanted to get more of its rewards.
Just like previous 7-Star Tera Raid events, the 7-Star Dragonite Raid Dens would only spawn in Paldea. If you haven't purchased The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, no need to worry as the Raid Den cannot appear in Kitakami or the Terarium. You also don't need to do the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in order to start this raid.

Don't bother with resetting for allies with Intimidate as it has no effect on Dragonite! Inner Focus prevents Dragonite from flinching, do don't bother with those kinds of strategies either.
If you want to solo this Raid, try to look for NPC Allies like Gardevoir, Drifblim, and Mareanie. Gardevoir is useful for healing with Life Dew. Meanwhile, Mareanie and Drifblim can lower Dragonite's damage with Chilling Water and Will-o-Wisp respectively.

Dragonite are rare spawn in Paldea, making the 7-Star Event Dragonite quite the catch, but you have to fight it in a Black Crystal Tera Raid.
These raids are tough, so trainers will have to prepare in advance. It's also recommended to complete the post-game before you participate. Players who are in earlier points of the game can still join via Link Code, but it is highly discouraged since these 7-Star raids will be extremely difficult.
How to Unlock 6-Star Raids and List of Pokemon
Remember that Black Tera Raid symbols on the map do not come in any other color except black. Meanwhile, normal Tera Raid symbols are colored according to the Tera Type of the Pokemon in them.
When you're looking for the Tera Raid with the 7-Star Dragonite, keep your eyes peeled for a Black Tera Raid symbol on the map with the Normal-type icon.
Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles
You are able to join Event Raid Dens online. When the event is live, you can use our Tera Raid Board to coordinate a team to take it down!
To participate in the event with other players, you must have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, which is bought separately from the game.
Multiplayer Modes: All New Co-Op Adventure and Connectivity Options
Trainers must also make sure they have the latest version of Poke Portal News in their game. This should automatically download if your Switch is connected to the Internet.

If going to use Kommo-o, switch Sunny Day for taunt to prevent Dragon Dance. After using at least one iron defense, use body press to build tera charge and don't forget to reset taunt if he doesn't have shield yet. After Dragonite resets your stats, use iron defense until max and body press for the win. Only way it worked for me.
