"Use a calm mint to change its nature to bold. " needs to be fixed. Also, as someone who has never raised a Chansey, does the IV for speed matter? Should i bother with the bottle cap or just leave it alone?

item called Eviolite increases Chansey’s defenses but that item can only be held by pokemon who aren’t fully evolved. Increasing her defenses is more valuable than blissey’s slightly larger HP stat. However both Chansey and blissey are good, just be aware of what items Blissey can hold vs eviolite chansey (which is the only item she can hold viably)

new to pokemon, why not Blissey?

I wouldn’t recommend Tera blast. Chansey makes better use of support moves. My personal favorite is tail whip, since it combos well with other mons on the team, but there are other good moves as well worth considering like light screen.

imo, chansey is best with Max IVs into defense specifically because of its abysmal defense stat. All EVs into defense get doubled, so it becomes more of a generalist raid supporter. However, if you only use chansey for charizard, or other Pokémon that only use special attacks, then yeah, special defense and hp make more sense.

Why Thunderbolt? Just give tera blast or something

Why are you recommending increasing Defense instead of Special Defense? Chansey has an awful Defense base stat of 5

I'm confused, how does a Fairy tera type give a STAB to the Electric move Thunderbolt?

Hi Anon! This has been addressed, thank you!

Why are you recommending tera types to pokemon who don't even have attack moves to gain tera orbs in the first place???
