Evolve Happiny By Making it Hold an Oval Stone and Level it Up in the Day

Item Effect
Oval Stone ImageOval Stone An item to be held by a Pokemon. When held by Happiny it will evolve into Chansey when leveling up during the daytime.

Regardless of how much you level up your Happiny, you need an Oval Stone in order to evolve it into a Chansey. In order to get a Chansey as soon as possible, we recommend not using Happiny until you obtain an Oval Stone.

Chansey Evolves to Blissey with High Friendship

Item Effect
Soothe Bell ImageSoothe Bell An item to be held by a Pokemon. It doubles the Friendship earned by the holder.

With high enough Friendship, Chansey will automatically evolve into Blissey.

You can raise your friendship with Pokemon fast by feeding them vitamins, berries, or having them hold a Soothe Bell.
